Postdoctoral - Microbiology
Candidate should be able to read and review relevant scientific literature, curate information from literature into databases, analyze and interpret whole microbiome information, work with ms office, adobe, and database tools efficiently, synthesize relevant information from curated data into finalized reports, create and work within interpretation pipeline/process. Understand microbial physiology and standard techniques in microbiology including, but not limited to, colony counting, nutritional growth analysis, metagenomics, qpcr, metabolomics, and taxonomic differentiations.
The ideal candidate has a PhD in microbiology, virology, parasitology or related field. Also, candidate would be able to summarize information on a technical and common level. Experience in working with multiple species of organisms. Efficient use of publicly available reference databases.
